Seriously, I'm going to go find these bad reviews. It seems inexplicable to me that there could be anything to fault Marchetta on.

1) can't keep up with all the characters/lore (I thought, for a fantasy novel, it was character and lore lite!)
2) didn't like Finnikin/Evanjalin
3) are batshit insane

I think i read a review of Saving F, where the person went really detailed into how they didnt like how a particular character dealth with her depression.
I'm usually very touchy in regards to how mental health is handled in fiction so that had put me off for a while.
But no longer. She and Ellen Hopkins write books that I really need to get into.
