I tried something by this author when it came up as botm in “catching the classics�� Group. it was too “out there�� for me after a few pages.

This is the short story read for the classics group this month. I hated it so much that I just can’t post anything in the group chat.

Wow! I think a lot of my friends love this book. It must be pretty bad with certain things! I think I have an idea 😕

Being a brown dude it was a little weird to read all of Lovecraft’s works. (In one story a character has a cat named “niggerman��.) So obviously it’s just like the oddest thing. But I did appreciate his work and it’s easy to see how influential his body of work is in so many different realms of fiction and moviemaking and not just horror.

I didn't care much for this one either. I gave it 2 stars. I read it late at night and instead of keeping me up like I thought it would it was putting me to sleep!
