What a lovely book. It is close to 500 pages which was the reason I put off reading it! Silly me! I was hooked by page 50! I learned a lot about the Korean and Japanese culture. The story itself is very moving family saga with complex characters trying to find a place to call home. Fighting the odds to fit in and be accepted. It’s an immigrant story that I recommend.

I know, right? It just looked so intimidating!
LOL. That's never prevented me from reading any book.
It always makes me think twice. 500 is about my max. Lol
