I love mermaids & saw this book being read by another Book Tuber this month. It’s about killer mermaids but would they be considered sirens, as they killed people after enticing men with their beauty (as far as folklore goes)? Is this more horror than fantasy?

I would probably say more siren than mermaid though. Also, aside from the mermaid/siren creatures existing, this wouldn't be at all fantastical. It's definitely more sci-fi/horror.
