Pachinko is by far one of the best books I have read this year. I spent nearly six weeks buddy-reading it with my dear friend Noa, and that just made the whole experience even more wonderful. We had so many interesting conversations while discussing this book!
Pachinko captivated me from the very first page � its opening line, especially, was absolutely unforgettable. I wish I could find the right words to fully convey my high regard for this book�
It is such a stunning novel with nuanced characterisation and the most bittersweet ending. I am going to be thinking about this story, and these characters, for a long time.
