Hi TBV, lovely to hear from you. Yes, up to now every book written by this author read by myself has been really good. Conclave I think was the last one I enjoyed. Stay safe my friend.

As I was born into a Catholic family and brought up in that faith Beata I am quite familiar with what goes on when a new Pope is elected, nevertheless, this book was fascinating and I learned a lot more. Oh Maureen, lucky you! I have been to Rome many years ago but I wasn't well while there and spent most of the time in our apartment. I would love to visit this magical city again but being elderly and living alone I can't see this ever happening now. I might well read Conclave again and certainly seek out the books not yet read by this talented author.
I was very lucky to go when we did just before COVID 19 struck. I do not know when I will get back there.I love to read books about different places.
