Dark Needs at Night's Edge (Immortals After Dark, #4)

As said, I read this one immediately after the last one in the series. And honestly, if I didn't have some challenges to read for, I might just pick up the next one and start it. For me, these keep getting better and better. Last book I mentioned how I love the heroines Kresley Cole writes. With this book, I'm going to tell you she writes an AMAZING tortured hero! Conrad Wroth was tortured from the get-go and that brought so much angst to this story. I LOVED IT! Neomi wasn't all kickass like her other heroines have been. But it's ok...Neomi was a ghost. Then she was mortal. Then she was zombie-like. Then she was a ghost and ended up being a phantom and immortal.
Bringing Mari back was great. She and Nix brought some much needed comic relief to the darkness and angst. Does Nix get her own book? She needs one. I can't wait to see her fall in love. I'm anxiously looking forward to the next book in the series :)
