The Song of Achilles

As soon as I finished reading my ARC of Circe, I had to get my hands on this book! Although I did like Circe more, I did enjoy this book as well.
I will not give my synopsis as I would be giving away too many spoilers, but what I will say is that one does not need to be overly knowledgeable about the Greek Gods, the Trojan war or Achilles to enjoy this book. Of course, knowledge is power and would help but not knowing will not detract from the story at all.
This is a brilliant re-telling of Achilles and the Trojan War! It has a little bit of everything for everyone: heroes, demi-gods, Gods, romance, ancient kings, adventure, lust for fame, and the sorrows of death.
