All the stars! I highly recommend listening to this on audio. It's long, but it's so lovely to hear Michelle Obama's words on her own warm, confident voice. Her story is interesting and inspiring, full of love and tragedy, challenges and triumphs. I loved hearing about her own life as a person who existed before she met the man who would become president, who had dreams of her own, and the will to do the hard work to accomplish them. But I also loved seeing Barack Obama through her eyes, when he was young, and while he was president. It confirmed that he is exactly the kind of man who should be president--intellectual, curious, empathetic, and with an authentic passion for improving his community from a young age. Hearing their love story was 😍😍😍! We also got to hear about how Barack's political career was for Michelle, and the struggles she went through and doubts she had, as well as her and her feelings about her role as first lady, her goals, and what how she was touched by hearing the stories of the people she interacted with in that role. Michelle Obama is such a remarkable woman, and I loved everything about her memoir. I felt such a longing while listening, for a time when we had a president and first lady who cared deeply about the people of this country, but she also gave me hope that we can have that again.
