😂😏😫😔😭💔😱

I guess those emojis can express my feeling while reading this book. I'm feeling so emotional.... and the cliffhanger make me more confused with my feeling.

shIt.

Truth to be told, I might not be a fan of YA-fantasy. But, God.... This book is so beautiful. Unity in diversity is real.

Unlike other YA-fantasy book series, such as Red Queen, this book was soooo intense. It's more focused to the 'revenge and rise' than 'the love and hate.'

Just like the title, so many blood splattered here. Every blood poured like a rain. Like it's a water which flow away.

Bloody war.

I love Zélie's character. Even though she's so annoying at the beginning, now she's so mature. Her pain, her eagerness, her sadness, and her past. She grew up into great character.

Appraise to the wicked king I ever met, knew, and read, it's King Saran. His evil was 100% evil.... He's vicious.

I guess, you might hate him too.

The beginning was slow... so slow... until I thought I would took a rest from this book and read other book.

And, I chose to stay and keep reading. And, yeah, I ended like it 🙈😆🙈😆

The only thing I don't like from this book is.... the romance.

I'm a romance hardcore, but not instant-love like this.

The relationship between Zélie and Inan is too fast. How could Zélie fall to him easily? Like.... easily literally in the moment she said she hate him, and after a second later she head over heels to him.

Inan was great. His attention to Zélie was cute. But....

I love Roën more 😂😂😂

Roën was so mature and.... typically a boy who really likes spread his charms with his precious smile 🙈

Oh no, I'm falling in love with the second lead character again....

*suddenly remembers Maven*

What I want to scream now is....

PLEASE. I. NEED. THE. SECOND. BOOK. NOW.

Tomi Adeyemi hung me with black chains just like King Saran did to maggot and maji....

😭😭😭

by the way, this book has maji classification which reminds me of grisha 😂

I chose maji of health and cancer(?) 🙈😂
