Dawn is my favorite Octavia E. Butler so far and is one of my favorite books ever <3 So glad you like it!
This series is one of the most amazing things I 've read! It's so creepy and fascinating
This was my first Octavia Butler and it won’t be my last. As well as being incredibly well written it had, well drawn characters, drama, action and horror.
After reading this I immediately went and bought the other books of the trilogy.
This is one of my favorite series ever! Definitely need a reread.
If you have the time/inclination would love a video dedicated to her - where to start, recommended order, highlights etc!

This series actually started well for me, the first book was weirdly amazing, then it completely digressed. Each consecutive book became less and less interesting and lost the amazing story line that the first book developed. I'm interested to know your thoughts on the second and third books.
