LIKE OKAY. SURE. THAT JUST HAPPENED.

I AM BREATHLESS! I feel as if I've just done a full on workout at the gym (I'm guessing? Food before abs every day of the week). This book was full on action with perfect little spaces to try and get some extra air in your lungs, cause boy do you need it.
Aspects of it reminded me of the Grisha verse, red queen and even a touch of snow like ashes, but then it was also an original masterpiece. Anyone who likes any of those series should pick this up, immediately.
I connected beautifully with the characters and cared for each of them and even random extra characters WHO DESERVE MORE took a piece of my heart. Sure A CERTAIN SOMEONE WHO I WON'T NAME annoyed the hell out of me but hey we can't like everyone, that's just life.
AND THAT ENDING THOUGH!? PLEASE MEAN WHAT I THINK IT MEANS.
Urghhh I honestly can not rave enough about how good this book was.
