I stayed up all night finishing this last night. The ending was perfection but I took away one star because I was so bored and annoyed for most of the book because it was all Christian. I really can't say much about how I feel about the book without spoilers so... Don't read this unless you want to know who she ends up with. I knew before I started so I understand needing to know.

I agree. What the hell is wrong with Clara? She obviously wants to be with Tucker! And now she's going to be attending Stanford with freakin' Christian becuz their destined to be together! I am like so sick of books with guys who say their destined to be with girl or are made for the girl (Dylan from the Maximum Ride series). I'm so mad that she left Tucker. Like I could just feel like jumping into the book and pip slapping her. Also, what's up with Christian not fighting for her? He barely tries to make her stay. All I know is that the third book better have them getting back together somehow. She bet not keep falling for Christian.

I agree with all of you. When I finished reading the book, I was like -- what's this destiny crap? Tucker is the guy for Clara!, then I threw my book away and realized I had thrown my tablet away instead, too bad Clara wasn't near so it could have knocked some senses into her head!

It's freakin' obvious that Max and Fang belong together and were doin' just fine before Dylan came out of no where and was all like, "Max, we're meant to be together, I was made to love you, forget about Fang, we're gonna have a bunch of babies together and save the planet.... yada, yada, yada". She is probably secretly dating a black wing in Italy. Christian was so annoying. Just over and over that he wants to be there for their purpose and were these two super special angels so we should be together. I am so curious about why her brother was supposed to light a forest on fire. That sounds like an evil purpose even if he was going to save Tucker. Plenty of animals and houses and other people still could have got hurt.

this trilogy is confusing. like what kind of purpose is to burn a forest down. maybe if her bro screwed up on his purpose and accidentally burned it down then that would be more logical . and i have a feeling her bro is going to be bad then come back to being good.

um tucker will die and age before Clara so either way christian wins why do that when tuck can have a normal life with normal children. and then Clara and Christian can be together i mean seriously once tucker dies of old age christian will still be sitting there waiting why go through all the heartache and pain when you can just skip that and let Tucker have a real life lol.
Why would Christian wait around for 80 years for Clara?! He would move on. Angelbloods lives are till what 120 years? Tucker might die at 90? That doesn't seem worth giving up a life of happiness just because he will die younger than Clara.
you dont know that tucker could die from a car accident when he is 21 you dont know when hes going to die. im just saying its better for clara i mean its not like kids are going to be possible for a really long time she blinds him with glory everytime things get hot and heavy. With Christian you dont have to worry about that and everyone is equal they can both train the kids with angel abilities where as tucker would be left out in that factor. Besides people fall in love all the time in high school they get over it and move on and fall in love with someone else. happens all the time. Still if its what the man up stairs wants its what will happen. tucker can have a normal life. She doesnt have to end up with christian any angel blood will do. I just think ending up with a human is a stupid illogical choice. ntm Christian can protect.

Clara could die tomorrow too. They shouldn't live their lives worrying about it. They should just be happy and Tucker makes Clara happy and brings out her angel glow thing. Where as Christian isn't anything but a purpose. And Clara isn't a damsel in distress. She can take care of herself and protect herself. Urg Christian is just so arrogant and annoying. I am an idiot. I'm reading this review and I'm only 50 pages into the book, but...I don't like Christian! He's okay, but Tucker is sooooo much better!
I'm so glad she ended up with Tucker. I was spoiled about who she ended up before I read. I'm kind of disappointed that not all questions were answered though.
Finished. Loved it. Still feel bad for Christian, though. I prefer Tucker but I really liked Christian in this, even though he was a bit naive to assume that all Clara had on Tucker was a "crush." (view spoiler)

He annoyed me and I did think it was really dumb of him to dismiss Clara's feelings for Tucker. He took the purpose way too serious in the wrong way.
I couldn't stand Christian in the last book. I thought he was a complete ass. But I did come to like him in this one. He claims he doesn't want/love Clara because of the purpose, but would he of fell for her if they didn't share the same purpose? I wish we got a little more detail about the ending though.
I still feel kinda bad that Christian ended up with no one, but I really hated his act of "oh, I'm Christian Prescott and I can get any girl I want." I still hopes he finds someone because that would be a big waste of a hundred years still getting over your wish-had-been ex.
Exactly. Not to mention in 100 years they will be 118 with only 2 years left to live. But then again Billy married Walter when he only had a few months to live.
