Nocturnalux Thes notes in this edition are a bit odd. For the most part they are helpful and occasionally even very much so on every now and then they stray into odd territory.

I'm not too sure why the editor is baffled as to why Malcolm and Donalbain decide to be apart for their safety, seems obvious that a murder attempt on them would go much more easily if they were together. Two parties would have to be coordinated to kill them both if they go their separate ways, if they remain together they can both be killed in one single attack.

Run Shylock, they're coming for you!
