Reading this you realise this was written only to get money from moviegoers, or teenagers that like to read the book first and then see the movie.
The writing is mediocre at best, and the story itself is just a typical YA tearjerker. We as YA readers are so over these types of books. The book has to have more in it then just a novelization of the movie.
Sorry, we are not stupid.

Erik Fazekas Ja m谩m pocit, 啪e je to z ich strany 膷ist媒 kalkul -- ve膹 teeni s煤 hl煤pi a k煤pia v拧etko, 膷o s煤vis铆 s filmom, tak to po膹me spravi钮. Je to citov茅 vydieranie, e拧te k tomu slabo a zle nap铆san茅. A ani kr谩sna ob谩lka to nezachr谩ni.

Ivana Dala som tomu 拧ancu... pre膷铆tala som si anot谩ciu! Ok, sta膷ilo.

Raney Finally! Someone who actually recognizes how poorly written this book is. I鈥檝e got to be honest here- I鈥檓 wholeheartedly disappointed with this book. It has zero depth and the writing mirrors that of a wattpad fanfic. I know it was adapted from the movie, but you鈥檇 think the author could add more to it than just describing every scene.

Happy Reading Watching I just finished it and I agree it felt like reading a screenplay which its based off but it needed more meat.
The movie probably will be better.

Ellen Klock It did bring to the forefront a disease which isn鈥檛 mentioned too often - Cystic Fibrosis.

Gunnar Esiason I have CF... quite frankly it felt like it did a disservice to the condition. Victimized patients, romanticized the illness and horrendously stereotyped two kids with living it. It鈥檒l be nice when this is long forgotten.

Brooke | brookesreads I agree that the writing could have been a lot better, and I do agree with this review, but I am that person who has to read the book first before seeing the movie馃槀

Sarah I agree that it wasn鈥檛 a good book, but there鈥檚 no need to bash people for preferring to read a book before seeing a movie. That鈥檚 a very normal thing to do and it enriches the experience of both.

I actually really liked this, especially when compared to The Fault in Our Stars. Although, I did watch the movie first, so maybe that's why.
