Terrific book! Very well written. Very touching without being overly dramatic. I have never heard of “Les Enfants de Duplessis nor had any idea that the English Canadians could have been so mean towards the French Canadians. The story touched me deeply. Sometimes I was so angry against society that I wanted to throw my book against a wall. I can’t imagine the pain that those infants or the original families suffered. And it is hard to believe that a Canadian government was blinded by a greedy Church. Anyways, I really enjoyed this book. I couldn’t put it down. Just to be clear, this book makes no political or religious statements, it is just a fiction book based on things that happened in the 1950’s.

"At 46%. Well, this is a very well written story able to touch all of my emotions. I refuse to believe that the things written here really happened in Canada. The cruelty against another human being, especially children, is hard to take."
