I don't know what to think of this book. Before it was released I looked forward to it because I love Neil Gaiman but when I started reading it, it just didn't... hit me. I made it through half the book and then switched to the audioversion instead (beautifully read by Neil himself as usual). Don't get me wrong, the ideas are great, the characters are nice ... I'm really not sure why I can't enjoy this book completely. I think it might be because it's a children's book and it deals with children mostly, maybe I miss the complexity of grown up Gaiman characters. Also Neil himself says that the story was somewhat inspired by The Jungle Book and I never really liked that story either, even though Bod is way cooler than Mowgli.
