Yup, I did binge Marillier this year. I think I even read one book too many because, in the end, I was bored slash irritated. But Blackthorn is a great protagonist built on complex paradoxes and I loved this about her.

OK, I have Heart's Blood on my TBR but I am not touching Mariller any time soon. I fear I would be unjustly harsh in my rating. I have Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine on my TBR but I don't think I will get around to reading it any time soon.

Yes, better to keep some gap and then read it.

It is more about the monstrous size of my TBR and the fact that my body stubbornly insists on having 8 hours of sleep each night. :D
