But seriously- imagine Keefe if she wasn't there for him all those times...not going to elaborate for fear that i may spoil it to other people...he may even have been suicidal though. (ofc, if it weren't a middle grade fantasy novel XD)

Don't worry- I totally agree with you. I much prefer the older books in the series. The newer ones definitely aren't as good. (IMO PEOPLE)

The newer ones are the best in my opinion, especially the Fiztphie, but also I liked how much Keefe was involved. (Yes I love Keefe even if I don't want him with Sophie. I think his love for her is super sweet, but they really are better off as friends. (Not to offend anyone)

I would love to know why you're Fitzphie and why you think Keefe is better off as her friend?...(just to understand your opinion- that's it)

I believe that Sophie and Fitz have more of the same personality. They are both more serious while Keefe is all about Jokes. Also, think about it, If Keefe and Sophie get married, Fitz will still have a HUGE connection with Sophie being Cognates. Imagine how weird it would be!!!

Also, I'm glad that Shannon is giving Keefe a time so shine. I feel like most of the characters have gotten that. Dex got it in the book Nightfall with all the awkward things with him and Sophie. He also got it in book one because of the whole thing with the Neverseen. Biana got to shine in Neverseen because she figured out about things the others did not. Also in the book Lodestar because she was with Sophie when the met Ruy. Lin got to shine in Nightfall (Atlantis) and in the book Neverseen with the orges. Wylie and Tam got to shine in Flashback. Fitz got to shine in the first book, Everblaze and Flashback. Keefe got to shine in Exile. That is it. Everyone got like multiple and Keefe only gets one. That was why I was happy when he got to shine in the book Legacy. He also got left out in the books before because he was gone. We only heard about their nightly check-ins.

But i also think that opposites attract- Sophie and Fitz are much too alike. I see what you mean about the cognates, and I hate to be the killjoy here, but there is also a chance Fitz may not like Sophie anymore, so their connection will be back to normal. Shannon has already made it clear that Fitzphie is over, and I seriously doubt the chances of them getting back together again. What would be so interesting about the book series then? Sophie ending up with her first-ever crush after breaking up with him in the middle of the series?

They said they wanted to wait, not that the weren't interested in each other anymore.

Maybe- but it feels way to predictable for them to get back together. Anyways, we'll see soonXD. I just wanted to understand what Sophitz shippers saw in the ship, that's it. :)

I agree that Fitz was grieving, and I get where you're coming from. However, he did say some pretty awful stuff about her, and it just says a lot about his character. How he reacted in such a difficult time for him says a lot about his character- you can't just act nice when you're in a good mood, and suddenly turn rude af when you're not.

No, Spriya. Fitz isn't necessarily the best character (in my opinion) but he definitely isn't the worst. So while people are too focused on their evil impersonation of fitz and the ships, the Neverseen have the advantage of destroying everyone in their tunnel vision.
