Dissolution (Matthew Shardlake, #1)

Fantastic historical fiction that I adored reading. England in 1537 is certainly a fascinating setting and Matthew Shardlake is a character I highly enjoyed. I will be eagerly continuing with this series.

I was sad to read last night that C. J. Sansom has died. I've so enjoyed reading his books, and have one final "Shardlake" book to read before I reach the end of the series. They really are so well done, and although it starts strong, the books and characters continue to get even more compelling. An absolute favourite series and writer. 💖
