This book was exceptional. It has something for everyone as it’s a multifaceted story of love, loss, friendship, survival, murder, and mystery. It was a bit of a slow to start for me but as soon as the plot developed and the characters grew into themselves I was absolutely hooked. Powerful and moving, this is a story that will stick with me and is one you should absolutely read.

I loved it too Chelsey. Great review. This maybe my favorite of 2019 so far.

I loved this book! I thought I would struggled to find a more emotive read, and then I read the beekeeper of Aleppo! worth a read if you enjoyed crawdads.
