it was ok
bookshelves: couldn-t-finish-it, fer-teenagers-kids-and-younguns, 2008

I made it to page 245. That's all I can do. I'm sorry, noble GoodReaders! I swear to god I tried. But 245 MORE pages of angsty teenage romance is just too much torture. Especially on Christmas! (Plus, my mommy told me I could stop reading, so I did.)

You had your chance, Twilight Series, but now I'm breaking up with you.

¹óé±ô¾±³æ Hey, if Mommy says it, then that's the way it is!

Sheila At least you got to book three. Im stopping at book 1. I don't think I could handle anymore of that storyline without pulling my hair out.

Bloomin’Chick (Jo) aka The Eclectic Spoonie Amanda, you make me LAUGH! You did better than I did! I couldn't get past book 1 and once finished with that (and puking) I was upset that it was time I can never get back, lol!

Amanda Aw, shucks, y'all... :)
So, my mother loves these books--read 'em all twice. So she told me the whole plot line. If you didn't like the first one (or several) you would NOT like the rest of the series. (*SPOILER*--They end up getting married and having a half human/half vamp baby. Gag me.) So, my friends, PUKE NO MORE! You've been saved!

Sheila Thank you for saving us. Maybe this series was just a craze because someone told someone else to read it and so on. Ick.

Bloomin’Chick (Jo) aka The Eclectic Spoonie Oh ick - I'm still puking!

message 7: by Holli (new)

Holli OK I have no desire to read even the first one now although I feel like I should from all the peer pressure I get. Tell me honestly Amanda, what is it like? Is it a cute little teeny bopper romance book that will make me smile and remember my youth or is it sappy, saccharine cheesiness that's going to make me roll my eyes every second?

message 8: by Dolly (new)

Dolly LOL, I have friends who say I should read it but my daughter says to avoid it, so thus far I've avoided it.

I read Jo's review before and she said it was crap as well, so from what everyone is saying I think I'll listen to you and continue to avoid it :)
