It also took me a year to read a all the way through. I followed a chronological reading guide. What are you using Nat?

I hope I finish within this year, it is a really draining experience, I must admit. To visualize my progress, I used something a friend of mine (not on GR, but also reading the bible) found on the internet, which you can find here:
I just read somewhere that if you read two OT verses and one NT verse a day, you will read it in a year. It's overwhelming, huh?

Yeah, I once calculated that if I read between 3 or 4 chapters a day, I would make it through this within the year. But I just don't have the stamina for it. I read it only when using public transport and that is only in winter. So I may not make it until december, but I don't mind. It's a rather draining read, tbh

No, it is actually 4 chapters a day, that's how you can finish it in a year. I followed a chronological reading plan and that was really helpful in understanding the order of events.

Yeah, the Bible wasn't written in a way to just breeze through it. I actually went to a Bible school years ago and I am facilitating a Bible study group where I live. I meant to write you and let you know that if you have any questions or if there are things you find interesting or upsetting - I know I do - feel free to contact me any time to talk about it. xx
