Met veel symboliek, fantasie- en droomverhalen probeert een Russische vrouw haar leven en haar verleden te accepteren. Mooi taalgebruik, maar ik was soms ook wel in verwarring over de bedoeling. Marente de Moor is zelf nog jong maar heeft zich goed kunnen inleven hoe deze ouder wordende vrouw zich voelde.
