Um you can.. But basically it just introduces you to a character it's relatively short.. I read it in an hour but I wouldn't say it's essential!

I'm Team Tucker and I wasn't happy about how all this went down. The focus was completely on Christian the whole book and then he's tossed aside, barely a footnote in the end. I loved Christian too and I think he deserved a happy ending. He gave up Kay for her and he loved her. Why not give Kay back to him? I felt the same way about the RA being blamed for Angela's pregnancy. Boo.

Honestly it was like the Twilight zone, I was on Team Undecided for a while it I just felt like Christian grew on me and they were supposedly "so perfect, finishing each others' sentences, each others match, soul mates etc" and than out of no where it's like BAM!!!! I'm really really confused on how this even happened

So I just read Unearthly and Hallowed back to back and really liked them. I wasn't going to read any reviews for Boundless but since I'm weak I totally caved and even clicked on your spoiler tag! Wow! Sounds convoluted and she really seems to hammer the point of free will vs destiny in this final book? Like you I am team undecided but was hoping for more of her and Christian (he grew on me too!) and a better storyline. More answers would be good too regarding the angel made like why is it that they can't sense their own kind?!(view spoiler)[ How is it that Angela never suspected Christian being an angel too?? Yet she guessed Clara was one pretty much right away? (hide spoiler)] That's something that's been bugging me in the first two books. Anyways, I'll probably read boundless at some point but I was just curious if (view spoiler)[ Clara & Christian's purpose is finally revealed? Also, since Tucker is "changed" does this mean he doesn't get nauseous from Clara's glory when they get to second base now? Do they even make it past second base? Haha! (hide spoiler)]

HAHA thanks Negine for even reading my review :) OK so i agree with you totally I feel like how do they not sense their own kind but can sense black-wings, and why couldnt Angela figure it out about Christian and the plot twist enolving the two of them will make you even further be like WTF???
Tucker becomes a prophet and so yeah im pretty sure they get passed 2base but they dont let you see that. All of their purposes are finally revealed and are linked together. The crazy thing is that tucker only appears in this book maybe 3/4 times max. I also agree with the idea of free will vs. destiny but the book is so Christian-Clara focused and Tucker is like in the peripheral and the ending is just OMG so, so awful. I would read it for closure honestly, but since you know hopefully it wont punch you in the gut like it did me !!!

Oh man! That is just sad...this series had so much potential!!! I'll stick with Laini Taylor for my YA angel stories ;) Thanks so much for answering, Jaclyn :)

I have seen those! Really really cool. There is also a movie in the works which I'm pretty nervous about. I don't see how they can even come close to doing the books justice.

If you check on her profile, you'll see she's writing another book. There's no cover or anything, but I have a feeling in my gut that the end of Boudless felt like a cliffhanger for Christian and I'm praying this new book is his story. Have hope! <3
