The Handmaid’s Tale (The Handmaid's Tale, #1)
by
I watch very little TV but I read constantly. It’s therefore incredibly unusual for me to have watched a whole two seasons of The Handmaids Tale and not even picked up the book.
Despite having issues with the TV show I stuck with it and soon became addicted. With the end of season two I wasn’t ready to let this go so I reached for the book.
I have to say with the exception of the ending I preferred the book. I was surprised how short the book was. After watching 23 episodes I expected the book itself would be longer.
While the book is not without its faults it’s probably the most frightening dystopian I’ve read.

Thanks Julie I’m just waiting for season 3 now 🤗🤗🤗

Thanks Emma 💕
And they’ve started on the third.
I was surprised by how short the actual book was. I’d expected a lot more pages but then since it didn’t have an end a lot of pages were saved there. 🤣
