When you're desperately trying to turn the page, but it's the end of the book 😲
Wtaf did I just read?! My emotions were all over the place here, as I was gripped obsessively for the first 50%, wondering why anyone would put up with what our narrator did?! Then the crazy sure stepped up! I didn't know what to think, who to trust, or what the hell was going on at some points! This was a dark, twisty and crazy ride.
I'm still not completely sold on the ending, but then I can't really envision an alternative?!
This was my first Tarryn Fisher book, but I'm going to have to rectify that, and soon! Once I recover from this one that is!
My advice? Don't dig too deep into the reviews, and then just go with it!

They rejected my request so I preordered a copy and I will take comfort in the fact that you gave it 4 stars. But I want this book dammit. 😆

Fran, I can suggest The Opportunist, and the two books after that. I have the rest of Tarryn’s books on my tbr but I am planning on reading most of them. They are quite something 🙂

Very often it is about where a book is published, it may be the case here. Unless the publisher is Penguin...they always bitchslap me!!

This book sounds so crazy and messed up and I’m so sold! I read one book by tarry fisher and I really liked her writing, so I’m hoping to check this one when it’s out! Great review!! xx
Tarryn Fisher has been on my radar but I'm yet to read my first Fisher book. This sounds very gripping! Great review 💕
