Maybe two bad reviews will help lower your expectations and then you will enjoy it more--hopefully. I feel bad that you're not looking forward to it anymore. I hadn't heard that about 'New Moon.' I'm excited for 'Twilight;' I watched the trailer again last night. I'm thinking I could even get Garrett to come with me.

Really? That bad? I bought it last Saturday on a whim, and started reading it earlier this week. I guess we'll see....

Okay, either I've lost all sense of good taste or the warnings I received seriously helped. I liked it. Yes, there were plenty of 'are you SERIOUS???' moments, but really, it's the Twilight series! It's crazy anyway, and I enjoyed it. I've read a lot of Meyer's character explanations on her website and I think that helped. They are not meant to be role models, or even realistic characters. It's all fantasy and over-the-top. With that in mind, I liked it!
