Andy, I like exactly two works by Hemingway: this one, and THE SUN ALSO RISES. I’ve tried several others that were a total bust, so I get it.

I loved this novella and have read it many times over the years. Do you give up or do you see it through to the very end. There is no, “What’s in it for me?�. How much inner strength do you have?
Hes an old man having fished all his life, its occupational proudness. I actually didnt think of cutting the line myself, or as an alternative he would have considered : p
