The Testaments (The Handmaid's Tale, #2)

Time has passed and with it comes change in the form of cracks in the foundation of the Republic of Gilead.
Stepping back into a story that I thought was finished is an interesting experience. I didn’t want or need this continuation of the story but enjoyed the reading experience all the same. A predictable plot that still managed to entertain with an above average writing style and ordinary characters made this an okay read. I say ordinary, because the spark that the characters provided in the first book was not present in this one.
Three stars to a book that was neither here nor there.
