really liked it

Amy Taubin's book-length critique of the Scorcese film. Read it for film criticism class. She came to speak in the class and I found her to be kind of full of herself.

message 1: by Conrad (new)

Conrad I read something by Amy Taubin on the "male gaze" once. She struck me as the kind of person who finds a professional niche in a sort of petty moral nagging, and spends the rest of her life dutifully lecturing undergrads on how to be as resentfully abstemious as she is.

Jeff Cioletti she really is a miserable person.
