4 star-crossed lover stars
This is my second Colleen Hoover book and she is definitely the queen of romance! This one had some serious life changing events, betrayal, and big drama, but I did really like the characters that she developed.
The book opens with two sisters Morgan and Jenny and their boyfriends. This group did everything together in high school. Fast-forward 17 years and Morgan is married to her high school boyfriend and they have a daughter. Jenny and Jonah have just reunited.
Morgan and her daughter Clara trade points of view throughout the book. Morgan was a teen bride and mother and she has raised Clara to not repeat her mistakes. As you know, kids often have to learn their own lessons, much as we’d like to save them! The two seem to be at odds for much of the book, but this is life with a teenager for most.
There’s a great love story with Clara and Miller and their relationship just blossoms! These two really grew on me!
This one was an emotional rollercoaster indeed, but I loved the ride. Someday I will find time to read more of this author’s work.

Thanks Lindsay. I didn't like it as much as "Verity" but it was still a good read.

Thanks Jennifer! I am saving them too, I like to read one after a super dark read.
