Dem, I just read the first two books and now I'm really scared to start this one...Our book taste is mostly the same but I'll still give it a chance.. it think... Not sure though...

Couldn't agree more. Spensa is not interesting enough to carry a book on her own. The direction this series took left me baffled

Hard agree. It was such a let down. I had pre-ordered this because I really enjoyed the first two books. I'm crossing all of my fingers and toes it comes back around for the last book.

Can’t remember the last time I read a series that nose dived this hard after book 1.

Same. I loved Skyward, still really enjoyed Starsight but the novellas and Cytonic were such a big letdown

I agree that this is the weakest book in the series, but I absolutely loved the novellas

I agree, but it does set up book 4 wonderfully��
