(4.5?) After loving The Humans, I was very excited for this new release and I wasn't let down!
The main character is full of regrets after attempting suicide and ends up in a library where she gets to try all the other lives she could have lived.
This books was heartbreaking and unputdownable. My main regret is starting it late at night because I had to wait until the next day to finish it!
The writing was beautiful and hit almost too close for comfort. I can't recommend it enough!

I hated this book, predictable plot, nothing new to offer,
I was so excited for this book because I love Matt Haig (The Humans, How To Stop Time, Notes On A Nervous Planet, Reasons To Stay Alive)! But, I really struggled to finish this one.
Even after watching your video, I still made the mistake of starting it too late at night. lol I’m not very far into it yet, but I’m really loving it so far
First book of his that I have read and I agree with 4.5. I kept thinking of the movie It’s a Wonderful Life and that is not a complaint, it’s a compliment. Parts of it are beautifully written, however it’s not really about the words he writes, but how he makes you feel.

Absolutely loved this book! I am a big fan of Humans as well, and will definitely be reading more of his books next year.
(Possible) Spoiler Alert(Also, I agree with what you said about the ending. Luckily, Haig did not go in that direction)
Spoiler* I think he sorta did go in that direction tho! It’s like after she had the daughter life she was fixed and her life may not have wound up with a perfect little bow but I think the fact that she saw the guy suggested she was going to eventually ask him out and wind up with her happy life.

Yes 100% agree - was nervous about the ending possibly being that a husband and child saves you but that wasn’t the case! GREAT ENDING!!!

I never thought you'd give this book 5 stars! I loved it, but hated the ending. It's clearly supporting the point of view that the woman will be "fixed" by the right guy and the perfect daughter. Ugh.
Lol same before the coffee gets cold really traumatized me at the end I’m happy this wasn’t a similar books
