This is an adventure through a whole new type of jungle where flowers are so large that you can drink nectar from them and they will lift you off the ground. The snakes in this story are scary. There are so many that the snakes can make a carpet. There are some crazy animals and plants in this jungle. He is captured by some blue bottomed monkeys and taken to this weird tribunal.

There is a bird that looks like the dodo from the movie Up, but this came out first. It helps to save the boy. The weird twist is that the boy finds his parents in a very large glass jar that he has to break them out of. It’s a strange story.

The nephew’s favorite part of the story is this boy walks into a giant petrified animal. It’s like a cave. He walks through the stomach and intestines and then the book says he exited through the cloaca. My nephew giggled and said, “he came out his butt.� He burst out laughing. He loved that. It was written for him. He thought all the creatures were cool and the cave was great so he gave this 4 stars.
