In Alexandria, Mississippi in the South, on a Mothering Sunday, her brother Robin was found hung from a tree in their backyard. Years pass with the murder unsolved, so she, Harriet Clever, his very bright, focussed and mystery book reading sister (that he never met) sets out to unmask the killer... crossing the South's, and in this case her town's rigid lines of race, caste and wealth as she upturns stones seeking her goal. Donna Tartt, not satisfied with dazzling most of the reading world with The Secret History does it yet again in this almost To Kill a Mockingbird-ish feel tale of suspense centred around childhood, innocence... and evil! 8 out of 12

Karine I'm finally starting The Little Friend. I just hope I'll like it as much as you did.
