Okay.... I just finished and I’m freaking mad!! Had I been reading a physical copy of this book it would have been chucked out the window!!! 😡🤬😫😤☹️ The first half of this book was slow slow slow. I was really bugged that suddenly this story was told from other characters POV. The first two were Mare’s POV. So, I found myself being bored unless it was Mare. 🤨 That aside, it did pick up a little more than half way through. DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER IF YOU’RE WORRIED ABOUT ANY VAGUE SPOILERS.....

Dear Autocorrect , there is a word that is the past tense of "give." It is spelled g*a*v*e, not, h*a*v*e. That is a word that means to possess. Why do you insist on mixing the two up?

I am on the same page as you. I love the story and Cal is like literally one of my favs. I listened to this book and found myself 1/2 listening when POV wasn’t Mare. I feel like I could sum this book up in a few sentences, and honestly I’m so beside myself with what happened with Cal. Reading the next crossing my fingers this mess gets cleared up. 😭😭😭😩

I felt the same way. I didn't love the choice to suddenly have different POVs at this point in the series.

i agree with you. the series had such great potential, but this boo threw me off. the beginning was painfully slow, and finally when mare and cal got together the author messed that up too. ugh i’m beyond pissed at this. waste of a storyline
I feel the exact same way you do. I love mare and cal together and the ending is a waste of character development for cal in my opinion.
