I agree! The book was so cute and I absolutely loved it but I was expecting and wanted A LOT MORE. Like I wanted to see Cardan's POV when Jude was imprisoned in the Undersea, etc. I hope she comes out with another Cardan novella!

@Nit YES!!! There were so many scenes that I wanted to see, but ESPECIALLY THAT ONE!!! I do know Holly intends to write more books in this world, but I hope that some of them are ones that focus on Cardan and Jude!

My bitterness is definitely a mood, lol. Do you know if Holly Black is going to be writing out another novella/short story or whatever it is that is this book? I haven't read all the books in the Cruel Prince, but I thought it was only a trilogy with a side story or two? I haven't been keeping up with Holly Black as much as other authors.

As far as I know, nothing further has been announced. There's just the TFOTA trilogy and this novella of short stories. Holly has stated that she plans to write more books in this world, but wasn't overly specific!

I choose to believe there are going to be more novellas. Preferably every year, ahaha!

As much ad i enjoyed the illustrations & Aslog was fun with her storytimes...i would've loved to have seen some scenes from TWK from C's PoV especially the end and what machinations went in to the "rescue" 😈

I completely agree!!! So many squandered opportunities to see our favourite scenes from Cardan's POV!!!

Same!! It was beautiful and gave us some sneak peaks to Cardan’s life but it wasn’t what I had expected�� I wanted more scenes from the first book from his point of view. The other stories were nice but to me they were unneeded if in return I could have more Jurdan scenes from Cardan’s POV.
