this one is hard for me to rate. it was pretty slow going until 3/4 in and not slow burn just nothing much happening. the story is somewhat predictable and far-fetched however there was something that kept me reading. i liked the hero however we don鈥檛 really get much from him even though it鈥檚 told in dual perspective and I think that says it all. The flaw in this book for me was everything is surface value and not enough depth. I did end up skimming through a few chapters at the end as well as i started to lose interest. so many readers 5 star every book they read these days just for the sake of it so I try to be honest in my ratings and while this was okay i found it really forgettable.
