Daaaamnnn! This was a freaking good story. I fell in love instantly from the prologue. The author clearly knew what she was doing. That prologue kept me from leaving, Stella persuaded me to stick around and the music connected me to the words. I got a dope Spotify playlist now, courtesy of this book.

In all honesty, I was selfish. Love was selfish.

The story is narrated by Stella. I loved Stella, I felt she was realistic, with real dreams. Fresh from high school, in love with music, armed with the ambition to be a music Journalist. The story is told in present/past format but not like the ones we are used to. This is definitely unique. It maintains one timeline for long, in a way that is not confusing and annoying.

My peanut heart and head were being played with. Stella, Reid, Nate, Paige, Lexi, Ben and every goddamn character in this book, made me feel the feels. It was that good. The character development is amazing, no one was left behind. I remember them all.

“If you leave, I’ll be ruined anyway,�� I said, my heart bared.



Gaaah! I love Stella, she had Amy Winehouse and Eagles on her playlist. That alone guarantees my undying love.

You can’t put a price on your dreams, and I learned over the years that sometimes dreams have a way of paying for themselves. Excited for my new adventure, I floored the pedal up and down the steep roads that led to the small town outside the city.

Stella's story is so well written and pulls you in. I still can’t believe how much I ended up enjoying it. I love the fact that it wasn’t predictable. I was dying to know how it was going to turn out. GAAAAHH! It was excruciatingly painful. Stella growth is so amazing. I love the fact that she found herself first and I loved her through, the love, the heartaches, the failed dreams, the realized ones, the confusion, the mistakes and everything in between.

I loved Stella, I loved Reid, I loved Nate, I loved Lexi, I loved Paige and i freaking loved even Ben.



I am so happy I peeked and gave this book a chance. Best MF experience ever.
