� 4.5 stars
- the witches! they are the original halloween qweens. they are serving some major spooky realness. also, they went and haunted a woman just because she wouldnt share her hazelnuts. that is the exact level of petty that i aspire to be.
- lady macbeth. honestly, everything she says (especially to her husband) is so savage. she doesnt want to be a queen, she wants to be the queen. and her first scene is iconic. “unsex me.� yaaassss. ditch those bonds of femininity. be the murderous biotch we all want you to be.
- how someone born by a c-section is the key factor for determining the outcome of pretty much everything. soooo random. lol.
- that the english army thought they could hide behind tree branches and sneak up on macbeth for a surprise attack.
- the fact the macbeth believed it and actually thought it was the forest.
- “what, you egg!?� is now my go-to insult.

javelyn - all hail macbeth! hehe.em - right?! so many people hate shakespeare and i think its because its not taught properly in schools. so i try to make my shakespeare reviews show all of the positives to get more people interested! and im so happy to hear you are already a fan! :P
Man I should add this as read, since I obsessively read and studied it for GCSE many moons ago! It was definitely my favourite text out of them all!
Yes indeed, all hail Macbeth. A lot of people my age will absolutely hate Macbeth and it’s a shame because they are a lot of positive morally righteous messages stored inside those plays and novels. Truly it would be awesome if these Shakespeare plays were taught right, so many people would be invested. Absolutely glad you try and show all angles of these plays, it’s very well done. Also glad to have met another fan! 😁
