What a lucky choice for my first book in the new year.
I loved this book on so many different levels.
Having read some of Mr Backman's books previously, I had some idea what to expect, but this surpassed anything I have read by him before.
Such a clever and intimate book, I was always surprised and loved getting inside of all these amazing characters and their lives and anxieties.
The book resonated with me personally:
I have recently moved into a flat with balconies,
I have a new granddaughter of a same sex couple,
I am retired and sometimes wonder if I fulfilled my potential in the workplace,
I have a daughter who is a counsellor.

This is a feel good, get inside of your head and your emotions kind of book, which I embraced on every level and highly recommend this to anyone looking for a lot of smiles, chuckles and insightful moments about life.
