it was amazing
bookshelves: paranormal-sci-fi-or-otherworldly

January 2014 review:
4.5 stars. Despite the questionable cover, it was pretty darned freaking awesome. Hungry for the next one, which the epilogue set up quite deliciously. *smacks lips* Will, that gorgeous Lykae, was a fab alpha hero, and Chloe was a spunky and sweet foil to his harshness. Even though the "surprises" were rather guessable, I loved how they were handled and worked through. Yay, Kresley Cole!

MelissaB Hideous

Audrey He just has that serial killer gleam in his eyes. That, combined with the straggly hair, just is not hot. At all. :(

Lukas Sprehn Today's women's perception of hotness is DISGUSTING.

ha! Not all women's. This one is just disturbing. :)

Lukas Sprehn That's not my point. The point I am trying to make is that I think it's sad that women, and girls, are having any crushes on any characters from novels, or at least based on looks from a cover. I just think it's... odd... and I've found that many female readers only read books based on that sort of thing, who's the cutest male characters and so on and so forth, and it's driving me crazy. I think that everybody should try and read some of the books that are great due to all the content inside of them, both the narrative, prose, all characters, the craft itself. Write for the sake of writing and for the sake of the arts, and read for the sake of reading what is arts. Do you know what I mean? Man, now I am confusing myself.

Maybe I shouldn't have said "disgusting" though... that's a big word haha.

Lilia Ford It's out tomorrow! Finally.

Audrey I just picked it up from the library! Was getting settled into my new location over the summer, but now... *wiggles* The book is in my greedy lil hands. Precioussss...
