Wow wow wow, what a story. What a magnificent story... my first time reading for Mariana Zapata, and I'm in love, I just want to go and read all her books right away.

One of the most beautiful slow burn romances ever. Aiden the big teddy bear and his muffin...Vanessa , the strong amazing heroine. They were both broken people who came together and became this epic complete couple. I highly recommend this.

atomickitten I loooved this one, my all time go-to writer :)

Rose Yes me too. When I'm burned out with reading and want something slow and mellow, I go to her. I've read a couple of books from her so far, but this is my favorite by her💕🙂

annie Yess this book is SO GOOD!! I’m glad you loved it!

Rose Thanks Annie, 💕 have you read other books by her that you would recommend? I've read kulti and all Rhodes lead here.

moonlight ☾ [semi-hiatus] omg i'm happy to hear you loved this! it was also my first MZ book and the reason i fell in love with her writing! my favorite is Kulti, but she does slow burn romances so well. 😭💗

Rose Moonlight your absolutely right. She is the best in slow burns, I don't even want to skip anything while reading. I loved kulti so much too, but Aiden and Vanessa won my heart 🥰

Shani Haim I have so much love for anti-heroes ♥️♥️♥️ Beautiful review!

Rose Dev I think you might like this, but you have to be in the mood for slow burn 🔥 since the romance begins further down in the story, but so worthwhile ❤

Rose Thanks Shani, I can't say he is an anti-hero per-se. But he was definitely hard to be around people, until he slowly grew out of his shell.

Shani Haim That's beautiful too ♥️:)

Rose Yes Shani 🙂 any character that evolves throughout the span of the story, is beautiful to read about. Do you like slow burn romance?

message 12: by Shani (new) - added it

Shani Haim It really depends on the book and the author imo ♥️ Some slow burns that I read had so much fire and electricity and build up that I loved the slow burn (and what came when the MCs finally got together!). And some (not many) made me snooze during ZzZz.. Does it make sense?
What about you?

message 13: by Rose (new) - rated it 5 stars

Rose Lol yes it makes sense. And I never though about it that way, but your right there are different types.

With this author, MZ, for example...you get to see the characters first dislike one other, than slowly get to know one another, and than become friends, and their friendship becomes a bond, and than they realize that they feel more than friendship... more like true love with depth.. everlasting happiness.

It's very slow, but more realistic in a way. Because you get to see two people who are opposite, and how their friendship evolves into something deeper.

Hopefully with this description, it will give you an insight if this is something for you or not🙂💕
