bookshelves: art, inspiring, not-sure, owned, poetry, quotes, spiritual

The art is just beautiful of angels who are little children. This book is actually a collection of 3 books by the author: Believe, All God's Creatures, and On Earth as it is in Heaven.
I have had this book on my shelf for years and years. I heard of the author (artist) in an article about children who have gone to heaven and how she took this loss and made it art. Included is poetry by John Wm. Sisson in Part One. Each angel being the essence of a characteristic such as Love or Compassion. Part Two is the story of Rosie, who went to heaven and wanted to tell her (living) brother and sister all about it's wonders. Part Three is the story of Jacob, newly in heaven who can hardly wait for an assignment, which involves caring for an animal. All creatures go to heaven.
This is a healing book for the trauma of losing a child, and the stories would be readable for little children, as read to them or if they can read. Also might be good for children when there is a death in the family, or to explain heaven.
Beautiful artwork, beautiful stories. ()

Debbie W. Thank you for the recommendation! I have a small collection of angels, ever since I lost my son, Ryan, who was stillborn 26 years ago. He is my special angel.
