If nothing else sticks with me from this book, I know that the importance of nose breathing (and dangers of mouth breathing!) as well as the perfect 5.5 breath will. Breathing is a topic I love reading about and it ties in deeply with my devotion to yoga and meditation and mindfulness. Nestor is an expert storyteller and while this isn’t a medical text, it is hefty enough to at least lead to more research into breathing treatments for sufferers of common ailments of modern society.

"I am now more petrified of breathing through my mouth than I am of cancer and COVID and want to rush my whole family to the clinic and enroll us all in sleep studies ASAP. This book has sucked me in hard."

"Okay, so now I have also tried taping my mouth shut while I sleep - only to realize I already breathe through my nose then so that’s a nonissue for me. Also am convinced I need to chew gum for hours a day to build up my chewing muscles to change the bone structure of my head 🤷🏼♀ If nothing else, Nestor can sell me, the biggest skeptic on earth, literally ANYTHING."
