Guys this is my fave Mariana Zapata book I think 🤭 the slow burn, the possessiveness and the character development was just 🤌🤌 I ate this up up uppppp

The slowburn was giving, the characters were all very interesting and I love the fact that we also went into detail about Aiden his life, something that we didn’t have in the other 2 sportromances. Their possessiveness was 🤭, the writing was much better than the other 2 books and I LOVED the development Aiden went through. It was so interesting to read. I was also so happy that Mariana Zapata kinda let go of the blinking kink in this. The side characters were also very interesting and fun to read about. The love interest was so 🤭🤭😮‍💨😮‍�� and our main character was also very interesting, complicated and cutie patootie 🥹

also, HE GOT HER A SHIRT WITH HIS NAME ON IT FOR THE GAMES, THE ELEVATOR SCENE, HIM GOING ALL THE WAY TO THE CONVENTION FOR HER, HIM WAITING AFTER THE MARATHON, HIM BUYING HER A LOT OF SMALL CUTE LAMPS BC SHE IS SCARED OF THE DARK, HIM GETTING HER A RING WITH HER BIRTHSTONE (right?), HIM FIGHTING FOR HER, HIM TRYING TO BE BETTER AND BETTER AND HER JUST BEING SO FREAKING CUTE WAS THE BEST THING TO READ- OMG AND THE PUPPY? AIDEN AND THE PUPPY TOGETHER?????🫠🫠🫠

�� “He is built like the hulk��- bae, that does not sound good. The constant reminder that he’s too big for a human was getting kinda annoying

�� I didn’t like that she laughed when that women grabbed his butt, I would have fought the btch, don’t care how old you are. If you have the balls to m*lest, you have the balls to catch these hands 🥊🥊 and then she went like “why would getting his butt cheek squeezed rile him up?�� Girl are you serious? I remember when a friend of mine got touched on the butt by a girl and he felt horrible, ashamed and disgusted. So ashamed and shocked he couldn’t even say anything to her and our friend had to stand up for him until she got in trouble for calling that girl out. So, I’m sorry, but I did not find that funny

�� Some things were just weird and unrealistic but I’m too lazy to write them down

�� She was kinda��. Hmmm at times for example, when she told him “I know guys like that don’t fall for girls like me�� girl, shut up 🧍‍♀️thankfully this didn’t happen a lot

�� I’m sad we didn’t go further into the Diana situation, I would have wanted to see that asshole boyfriend get smacked the f up 😔

Do I recommend this? YES, but remember this is a Mariana Zapata book so the slow burn will be burninggggg, you gotta have some patience

Overall, I had a very VERY good time and the butterflies I got? I don’t know when was the last time I got butterflies like that from a book🤭

I have read 3 Mariana Zapata books now and I think this one is on number one, Kulti on number 2 and the with love bla bla on number 3- maybe this will change one day but for now I think this is how they stand.
