I listened to the full cast audiobook of this while on a long drive and I highly recommend it for the experience.
This book is meandering, in such a way that you can feel yourself getting lost. But, in Gaiman fashion, he has a way of tying everything up in the end (or not in some cases) in a way that was satisfying for me.
If you don't mind a character focused story with a lot of detours and LOVE mythology, you'll eat this up.

I also listened to this on audiobook and was impressed with the full cast! I listen to most audiobooks, regardless of quality, so I am always pleasantly surprised when I come across a well crafted audiobook. Are you planning on watching the show?
I do plan to watch the show. I'm interested to see what they change and what they keep.
the full cast production got me through a round-trip to/from Virginia...but I was confused by what was going on towards the end with (view spoiler)
