Who would want to kill Fred & Sheila Morton?? Or is the question who wouldn't like to kill them??
Fred Norton is a wealthy business man who owns Morton's Robotics he has 3 children Dan, Catherine & Jenna & partners were invited to a Easter Sunday dinner hosted by the matriarch of the family Fred & his wife Sheila, everything went as well as it could until Fred made an announcement that no one was expecting... One the grown children are not going to like.


Catherine storms out with her husband Ted, not long after Dan & his wife Lisa leave then Jenna & her boyfriend Jake. The next day Irena formally the Nanny & now housekeeper find Fred & Sheila dead Sheila was found first strangled & Fred lies in a pool of blood his throat slit & was stabbed 14 times .


The Police were called in Detective Reyes & detective Barr look into the murder & quickly establish one of the children did it but which one!! they quickly establish a motive & bring each of them in for questioning all have convenient alibis. Catherine wants to protect the family name & tells Dan & Jenna to be quiet, Dan is a main suspect but denies having anything to do with it.


But when Reyes & Barr arrest Irena for their murders all the kids can think of is themselves they are shocked at the development Irena is kept in custody BUT DID SHE DO IT!!

I love Shari Lapena she is my favourite author of this genre i loved this book it was twisted sick & sometimes disturbing as we find out more of Teds background it was a tense fast paced novel i did not want to put down, i found Catherine, Dan, & Jenna to be unlikable spoilt rich brats who i could have strangled but it kept me wanting to read to the bitter end. Their were so many twists & turns, red herrings going on so many deceitful characters it was brilliant.
