This poignant memoir is beautifully written in verse. It’s a story of family dysfunction, courage, resilience and, ultimately, hope. Laurie Halse Anderson stands up and speaks for victims of sexual abuse.

Susan's Reviews You tempt me to read this one, Cheryl. Great review - I have read a few stories written in verse. Some of them were quite good. I will have to check this one out now.

I hope you'll like it, Susan! It's so well written - but definitely a sad story.
